Trade journal Fleet News has carried out a survey into reliability of cars by contacting the top 50 leasing companies and asking which manufacturer and which individual cars have proven to be most reliable over the last 12 months. BMW just pipped Honda to the post as the most reliable manufacturer with Audi coming in third, jumping from 7th place last year. Audi was highest rated dealership network for reliability with BMW second and VW third. Moving to the most reliable individual cars, surprisingly Honda took 3 of the top 5 places. Results of the top 10 reliable cars are:

 

  1. Honda Civic
  2. BMW 3 Series
  3. Honda Jazz
  4. Honda Accord
  5. BMW 5 Series
  6. Audi A4
  7. Mercedes C Class
  8. Mini
  9. Toyota Avensis
  10. VW Golf

 So there you have it, the UK’s most reliable cars according to Fleet News and their top 50 lease companies surveyed By Graham Hill
