I Explain Which Cars Are Most Reliable

Looking for a reliable car has always meant that you must look in the direction of Japanese cars but following the annual survey carried out into company car reliability BMW has come out on top. The survey which sampled 881,000 vehicles leased by the top FN50 companies showed BMW to become the first ever non-Japanese company to top the reliability charts. Since the reliability charts were launched either Toyota or Honda have topped the charts for both manufacturer and model. In this latest survey BMW scored a double whammy with the BMW 3 Series named as the most reliable model. Honda dropped from 1st place last year to second whilst Ford jumped from 6th to 4th. The most reliable manufacturers were: 

  1. BMW
  2. Honda
  3. Toyota
  4. Ford
  5. VW
  6. Mercedes
  7. Audi
  8. Lexus
  9. Mazda
  10. Vauxhall

 The most reliable models were:

1.                  BMW 3 Series
2.                  Toyota Avensis
3.                  Honda Accord
4.                  VW Golf
5.                  Mini
6.                  Mercedes C Class
7.                  BMW 1 Series
8.                  Honda Civic
9.                  Ford Focus
10.              Audi A4
