Graham Hill’s In Depth Car Review Of The New Morgan

Monday, 23. August 2010

Graham Hill’s in depth review of a new car this week is of the latest Morgan. Yep they are still being made and boy you should see the latest coupe design. They have certainly moved on from the days when the car was built with a wooden chassis. They have continued the old style of having a +2 four seater. The new model is called an Eva GT and comes with a bonded aluminium chassis so no worries about woodworm any more. The car has amazing lines created by the use of ‘superformed’ aluminium panels. Some of the traditional Morgan features have been dropped with the exception of the slatted grille. The car is powered by a BMW 3.0 straight 6 engine cranking up 306 bhp taking the low weight car from 0-62 in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 170mph. The engine returns 40mpg – quite amazing really! It also kicks out just 200g/km of CO2’s. If you want a car you will have to move quickly as Morgan only intend making 100 cars. By Graham Hill
