Graham Hill, Car Finance Expert, Sums Up The Budget

Wednesday, 24. March 2010

This week I was going to open with an amazingly interesting piece about the Budget and the effect on the motorist and how we are going to have things a little easier than we had thought but that one was pretty much buggered 2 minutes after the Chancellor stood up. We’ve managed to get the fuel duty hike spread over the year and um er, that’s about it really. Oh no I think he mentioned something about electric cars but I dropped off to sleep when he mentioned that and missed it so I haven’t really got much to say on that subject other than the fact that to sell the new electric cars Nissan are saying that as the batteries cost as much as the car they will have to be leased. Which is fine when buying new what happens when the cars are used and being offered for sale in the Exchange and Mart, who will buy one? I guess that at that stage, with no buyers, the cars will be crushed and end up contributing towards a few new petrol BMW’s. So there you have it, Graham Hill’s amazing Budget roundup! Oh and whilst I’m being very political anyone needing a cab in London – there’s a new company just set up offering cheap deals, Stephen Byers Cabs, he doesn’t charge by the mile just a flat 5 grand an hour! Nice one you donkey! By Graham Hill
