Graham Hill, Car Finance Expert, Provides Videos Showing The Benefits Of ESC

Friday, 23. April 2010

If you are a regular reader of my newsletter you will know that I go banging on about Electronic  Stability Control (ESC) also known as Electronic Stability Program (ESP). It saves lives and should be fitted as standard on all new cars already and yet only half of cars that are going to be used for business were sold last year with it fitted. By 2011 all new cars must be fitted with ESC and by 2014 every car must have an ESC system fitted but if you are changing your car in the meantime you should certainly look out for this on your replacement car. To illustrate what I mean about the effect of ESC you can see a load of short videos made by EuroNCAP, the safety assessors, loaded onto You Tube showing the affect on cars with the ESC system enabled and disabled. They are all available on the following websitewww.fleetnews.co.uk/news/2010/3/30/euro-ncap-esc-test-results-and-videos/36215 Please watch, they are a real eye openers and prove why I have been banging on about this system being fitted as standard on all cars now for 2 years now!
