Benefits Of Car Leasing To Businesses

Friday, 26. September 2008

Companies have already started to cut back on their transport costs, as of course consumers have also, in preparation for the difficult times ahead. Sadly the problem here is not a need to downsize or purchase cheaper cars etc. it is really a need to understand the finance tools that are available. Various types of leasing could save businesses a fortune. Taking on a tax efficient purchase scheme when the company is making no profits against which they can write off depreciation and interest is pure lunacy. Losing the use of cash resources or dipping into an overdraft facility in the belief that ownership is best is equally crazy. Some Mercedes at the moment have a £10,000 bonus in them making them incredibly cheap to lease but spin up to the dealer and expect him to give you a £10,000 discount just because you have a pile of cash in your briefcase to offer simply won’t work. I have now overcome many of the earlier difficulties in getting videos out there so look out for my soon to be released video training on leasing and be prepared to be flexible. Be prepared to drive an alternative car to your first choice, for example a Ford rather than a Vauxhall or a Mercedes instead of a BMW and you could save yourself a fortune. By Graham Hill
