The renowned Graham Hill car review of the week looks at the new Mercedes CL Coupe, one of the last cars to be given a much needed makeover. A friend of mine, who runs a chauffeur company, ordered a new Jaguar XJ which should have been delivered weeks ago. He is still waiting for delivery and has received terrible customer service. So I was surprised to see that Jaguar sold 295 in June (mind you there’s a big difference between selling and delivering) outselling the market leading executive Mercedes S Class as well as the BMW 7 Series. Under the new EU Block Exemption rules you can now have your car serviced at any recognised service garage provided the quality of service matches that laid down by the manufacturer. I still recommend that original manufacturer parts are used but this isn’t necessary provided they meet original spec.
