Graham Hill’s In Depth Car Review Of The New Audi A7

Thursday, 12. August 2010

This week Graham Hill’s in depth car review focuses on the all new Audi A7. As a broker I absolutely hate Audi because they have the longest lead time of all the manufacturers. This means that if I agree a deal with a client today I will probably have to wait till 2011 before I’m likely to see the money I’ve earned – it’s a bloody disaster! But as a car the new Audi A7 looks simply stunning, both inside and out! It is a 4Dr Coupe which should quite easily take on the Mercedes CLS head to head other than the fact that the Audi badge doesn’t quite carry the same prestige as the 3 star badge of Mercedes Benz. The car has an unusual electrically operated hatch giving the car more flexibility without removing the line with a rear end that some say match that of Kylie Minogue! The car is bigger than the A5 and combines some of the best features already built into their car range including the distinctive lighting systems. Parking Assist allows hands free parallel parking, an amazing system. Loads of new technology has been stuffed into the car along with 4 engines (not all at the same time – that would be silly). The order book opens on the 16th August with first deliveries expected in January 2011. Prices will start at £43,000. Should new executive cars be developed at a time when we should be considering the planet and our environment? Have your say. By Graham Hill
