Graham Hill’s Gadget Of The Week

Modern technology is managing to tie things together when it comes to social networking, if you are posting something on your blog you can have it simultaneously appear on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and many others and vice versa. Post an entry on Twitter and you can have it simultaneously appear on your blog or on Facebook etc. Go to the toilet or make a cup of tea and you can inform everyone you know all at the same time. The latest extension is the link up between Tom Tom and Twitter.
The latest version of its sat nav incorporates some new services called Search & Go LIVE and within those you can now tweet your position and expected time of arrival to family members, work colleagues, customers, your boss etc.
This is particularly useful if you are the spouse preparing dinner, your boss waiting for you to arrive for a meeting or a burglar.
In addition to the Tweeting function you will also be able to access Expedia, TripAdvisor and Yelp for reviews of restaurants and hotels, plus even find you the best route. Bit like the iPhone.
I found I could actually make a phone call with them! Amazing! By Graham Hill
