Graham Hill In Depth Review Of New Lotus Esprit

Friday, 23. July 2010

The Graham Hill in depth review of a new car focuses on the all new Lotus Esprit this week. Following the re-introduction of the Lotus name into F1 motor racing Lotus are going through a big revival. Ever since I learned to drive I was always a big fan of Colin Chapman, the originator of the company and of course Graham Hill who drove a Lotus to F1 championship victory in 1968 so the new Esprit would have to be something special for me to get excited all over again! And it is! There’s not much by the way of stats available on the incredibly stunning looking canary yellow car other than the fact that it will be powered by a Lexus V10 engine. If the car performs as well as it looks I’ll be very happy to review the car in more detail than to just tell you that it’s yellow and has an engine – well what more did you expect? A gaggle of new Lotus’s will be launched at the Paris including a 4 seater (remember the Elite), two front engine sports cars and a roadster. So lots to look forward to. By Graham Hill
