Graham Hill, Car Finance Expert, Asks Have Aston Martin Lost The Plot?

Friday, 9. April 2010

My aspirational car is an Aston Martin and I expect to announce in the not too distant future that I have one following the successful launch and growth of my new business. However, that was until I saw their latest venture, the Aston Martin Cygnet which is based apparently on a Toyota iQ. To me it looks like a Fiat 500, can you believe it? I’ll see if I can find a picture but I think I may have to re-think this whole Aston Martin thing. Mind you if you saw the cars launched at the Geneva motor show you’d think the whole of the motor industry has gone totally bonkers. It was OK when Nissan came out with a concept car that looked like a jelly, all curvy and wobbly, but they’ve actually started to manufacture one, its called the Juke. Anyone got some ice cream? Cars should be made to look like an F1 car not something you eat for goodness sake! By Graham Hill
