Employers Could Be Imprisoned Through Lack Of Care

If you use your own car for company business or you allow employees to drive their own cars for business use Active Risk Management feel they have a solution to checking if employees are totally road legal in their own cars by providing an ongoing audit service. Employees will be issued with an online permit which will confirm whether they are eligible to drive on company business. The record will show whether the employee is covered by insurance for business use and that his car has a valid MOT, road fund licence and service validation. Not a bad thing for employers who are worried by the latest laws which make them equally responsible if a car is used illegally for company business which could end in a prison sentence if a fatality occurs whilst the driver is on company business.
