Car Leasing Should Be More Popular

Friday, 13. August 2010

As the economy bumps along showing minimal signs of recovery the CVO Survey shows that large companies continue to actively use contract hire as its main method of financing its company cars whilst SME’s continue to blindly use cash, loans and overdrafts. Why should this be? I would suggest out of ignorance. Far too little is understood about leasing for SME’s to make a considered choice so they end up doing what they’ve always done. This means that everyone ends up driving the same old cars that they’ve always driven, just a little newer. I will be putting this right over the next couple of months as I distribute more information to SME’s and consumers. It’s essential that more people and businesses understand this method of finance if they are to save money and keep up the demand for new cars. Do you use contract hire? If not, why not?
