I know this has naff all to do with motoring but I felt I had to share this information about the latest Sat Nav app introduced by Tesco to be used on shopping trolleys. You enter your shopping list into the software (Android phones only at the moment) and the app creates a map of the store and guides you round the aisles showing where to pick up your groceries. How amazing is that, especially if your local Tesco is like mine and moves around the whole of its store every few months?

It means you should be able to do your shopping in super quick time which means you can then free up the disabled or parent and child bay in super quick time for those that need them and are entitled to use them.

The new scheme is being trialled in Tesco Extra stores in Essex but could be rolled out nationwide in due course. By Graham Hill
