New Leasing Benefit Identified For Consumers & SME’s

Friday, 12. December 2008

There is growing evidence that SME’s and consumers are moving over to leasing as a way to fund their vehicles. The old reasons still exist, having a fixed, known monthly cost, no risk in uncertain resale values and benefitting from hidden substantial bonuses provided by manufacturers to leasing companies but SME’s and consumers  have identified a new benefit. That of spreading credit. We are hearing all the time of banks reducing or removing overdraft and lending facilities  so we have all to consider the funding alternatives. Whilst some are reducing the amount of funding available with GE being the first to remove itself completely from the SME market there are still plenty of lenders able to provide funding to those that are looking for it. Moving your car finance to an independent leasing company may free up credit that may have been used to purchase vehicles for the survival of your business or to pay household bills. Well worth considering. By Graham Hill
