Graham Hill’s Review Of A New Car

Saturday, 17. September 2011

The Graham Hill car review of the week is a very strange choice. In the 25+ years I’ve been a broker you could count the number of these vehicles I’ve supplied on one hand and yet it epitomises the manufacturer. It’s the original 4WD and still a popular choice with farmers who are more likely to be driving across their fields in one than swanning up the M1. It’s the Land Rover Defender. But the new one, whilst practical, is now actually looking stylish and not like the old box on wheels style.

Inside the car has lots of new technology with computer controlled traction known as the Terrain Response System which controls brakes, traction and steering.

More economical engines will be introduced and other technology such as sat nav will be available. I still don’t think I’ll ever get into double figure sales but for some unexplained reason I like this updated car/SUV thingy! By Graham Hill
