We look set to experience some pretty grim weather over the next few weeks as we move deeper into winter so the Highways Agency has issued warnings to motorists after considering research carried out by them which reveals that 50% of motorists would still continue with a journey after a severe weather warning has been issued and around a third would not carry out any checks on their vehicles before heading out. So make sure that your car is properly maintained, check fluid levels and carry a mixture of water and antifreeze windscreen wash in the boot in the event that you run short of windscreen wash fluid. Also make sure that you carry warm clothes to keep warm with in the event of a breakdown. By Graham Hill
