How To Check The Carbon Footprint Of Every Trip

Saturday, 22. November 2008

I know that you are into saving the environment and concerned about your carbon footprint so you’ll be pleased to know that there is a great tool out there which enables you to calculate the carbon footprint of any trip that you make. The site to visit is www.travelfootprint.org When you use the website you can store your results and print them out as figures or as a display. The site is the brainchild of the London Borough of Camden who were looking at ways to monitor their own vehicle procurement decisions in terms of carbon footprint. Whilst their priority was to monitor the effects on climate change they were also concerned about air quality so they have even compared different biofuel effects. Visit their site for an interesting insight. By Graham Hill
