4WD Cars Will Become Scarce In The Future

Tuesday, 9. December 2008

If you are a lover of 4 wheel drives now may be a good time to buy or lease one with rates and prices plummeting. You may find in the future a lack of choice and not for the reasons you may think. When the EU announced that all manufacturers in Europe were to be given CO2 targets across the whole of their production or face some substantial fines many of the manufacturers dismissed it and said that they could not achieve the targets and would therefore factor in these fines as part of their costs of production. However, with the downturn in demand and the manufacturers facing some hard times many may decide that they would rather stop production of their gas guzzling 4 wheel drives completely and conform to the new targets than not hit the targets and face millions of euros in fines, potentially losing jobs. We have some great deals on Range Rover Sports and Mercedes ML280’s if you are interested before its too late. By Graham Hill
