Graham Hill’s gadget of the week is a great new mobile phone hands free system called the Jabra Freeway speakerphone. It’s a Bluetooth connected hands-free device, voice activated with the capability of turning itself off automatically. The unit is fixed to the sun visor and can be connected to your phone by simply hitting the voice button. You then give a voice command ‘Pair new device’, once paired the Jabra remembers your phone. The unit has clear buttons to control volume, voice dialling and FM transmission.

There is a clear labelled button to either answer or reject the call. Your phone automatically pairs as soon as you get into the car. The sound quality is superb with three speakers hidden behind the cloth outer.

When a call comes in, if the caller is in your phonebook the unit announces who is calling. You can simply say ‘answer’ or to reject it say ‘ignore’. The FM transmitter allows you to stream music from your phone straight onto your car’s stereo. The unit costs £99.99 from www.jabra.com. By Graham Hill
